At Windsor Unified, every student belongs. Whether just beginning their academic journey or preparing for what comes next, every student can find their place at Windsor Unified. With schools that serve preschoolers through 12th graders, we offer the programs, teachers, and community to help them roar with confidence and soar into a bright future. Windsor Unified is home to two elementary schools, a top-notch middle school, a unique comprehensive high school, a dual-language-immersion charter school, a Big Picture Learning high school, and a virtual school for 6th through 12 graders.
Windsor Unified’s overarching goal is to provide all students with what they need, when they need it.
Our Mission
It is the mission of the Windsor Unified School District to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all students. Students shall acquire the basic skills of knowledge, along with the thinking skills needed for problem-solving and decision-making relevant to a changing world. Windsor students shall exhibit personal and social maturity through responsible behavior, developed from understanding and respect for the diversity of all life, and a genuine caring for others.
