Alternative Education & Employment Program (AEEP)
Alternative Education & Employment Program (AEEP) focuses on core subjects (Math, English, Social Studies, Science) and elective work/test-taking/skills-building. This program prepares students for taking the Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) or California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) while still earning high school credit and includes a work readiness/experience component where students work and learn about resume-building and interviewing skills. The afternoon program is housed on the Windsor Oaks Academy campus and is kept small (15 students) to best serve the needs of students. |

Home & HospitalFor students with a need to rehabilitate at home due to illness or injury lasting longer than three weeks, the Windsor Unified School District provides a Home & Hospital program wherein a certificated teacher visits the home or other agreed-upon meeting place to provide instruction in core academic subjects. Home & Hospital teachers work closely with students’ home school of enrollment to ensure standards-aligned curriculum that facilitates a smooth transition upon the student’s return to a daily program. |
