Invitations to Interview:
- Applicant packets will be evaluated by District staff. Invitations for interview will be extended to those candidates who appear to be the most qualified for the position on the basis of the written material presented.
Requirements for Administrative Positions:
- Appropriate valid California administrative services credential
- Masters degree for principal, director or assistant superintendent positions
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
Special Notes Regarding Employment:
- The applicant offered this position, if not a current District employee, must be fingerprinted by the District and have those fingerprints cleared by the Department of Justice (DOJ) before a contract can be signed. Actual hire date will be no earlier than the date that fingerprint clearance is received from the DOJ. There is a fee required by the DOJ, payable by the District, to process fingerprints.
Salary:
- 2008-2009 Administrative Salary Schedule
- Annual advanced degree stipend of $1,000 for Masters
- Annual advanced degree stipend of $1,000 for Doctorate
- Annual stipend of $800 for demonstrated bilingual skills
- Monthly $45.00 stipend for cell phone for specified administrators
- Salary will be prorated for contracts less than 1.0 FTE
Benefits:
- Insurance plans include health, dental and vision for employee and family. The District pays 100% of dental and vision premiums and 90% of medical insurance premiums. Full-time employees pay 10% of medical premiums. Part-time regular employees are offered this package on a pro-rata basis. Employees who work full-time must enroll in a health plan.
- District-paid life insurance is offered to all full-time administrative personnel
